Tomorrow When the War Began

Alternate start for sequel

As we woke up in Hell, a loud gunshot was heard. We all immediately jumped up and counted how many people were here. We saw everyone, so the worry of it being one of us was gone, but we still wondered what made the invaders shoot. Homer jumped up with the rifle, pointing at where the gunshot was heard. Suddenly, a invader saw us. Before any noise came out of his mouth, homer got him right in the head, he fell to the ground silently. We were all shaken by that sudden wake up call, but thankful for homers quick thinking. We decided to collect the body, just in case anybody walked past and saw him dead. We Took him deep into the jungle and buried him. We felt bad for him, considering he seemed only a couple years older than him, but as homer said, it's their fault.

Tomorrow When the War Began Week 3.2

Week 3.2: Who I would play in the book

I would like to play homer, as he has the most responsibility, and has matured throughout the book. He also has the ability to laugh at the finny times, but become serious when needed. I find that he is extra interesting for mainly those reasons, but I would also like to be Ellie. It would be interesting writing about what has happened a while ago, trying to remember what happened. She is also interesting because she was the one that organised the camp out with these friends, and she made sure she chose the interesting ones. So all up, if I had a choice of who I would be, I would chose Homer first, then Ellie.

Tomorrow When the War Began Week 3

Week 3: Trying to resolve the plot

After seeing their families, the main characters are forced to make a decision, whether to fight, or to give up. In the end, they chose to fight and they go on the streets to find any guns and bullets and weapons to defend and attack with. After find numerous rifles and guns, they are attacked, and Robyn and Lee disappear. After numerous events, Ellie decided that she and homer should go and find them. They find out that Lee has been shot in the calf, but is okay. Robyn learns how to inject people and put in stitches and other medical jobs that will need to be done. Then, in a desperate escape attempt, they steal a car, put Lee in the back and drive away quickly, while getting shot at. That is all I will say for now, but the book has taken a real turn from that slow start, to become action at every turn.
